The On Par Championship is the premier event of the 2026 On Par tournament season.
Hosted at Paako Ridge Golf Club, the championship will bring together a limited field for two days and 36 holes of competitive individual gross stroke play at one of New Mexico’s premier golf destinations.
This is the event the season builds toward.
$500 per player
Limited to 48 players
Championship Entry Includes
Your championship entry includes:
- Two tournament rounds at Paako Ridge Golf Club
- Golf cart both days
- Range access and range balls
- Lunch following play both days
- On Par live scoring
- Final-round re-pairing based on Round 1 standings
- Eligibility for championship cash payouts
- Eligibility for long-drive, closest-to-the-pin and additional on-course prizes
- Championship awards presentation following the final round

Tournament Format
The On Par Championship will be contested over 36 holes of individual gross stroke play.
Each player’s Round 1 and Round 2 scores will be combined to determine the final standings.
No handicap strokes will be applied to tournament scores.
Handicap indexes will be used for flight placement and appropriate tee assignments.
Championship Flight
Handicap Index: 0.0–9.9
Players Flight
Handicap Index: 10.0+
Two flights will be used if the final field supports meaningful payouts and competitive divisions in both flights.
If participation does not support two separate prize pools, the tournament will be contested within one championship field.
All players must provide a current and verifiable handicap index.
Final-Round Pairings
Round 2 pairings will be rebuilt based on Round 1 standings.
Players will remain grouped within their respective flights, with the leaders positioned together for the final round.
Updated Sunday pairings and tee times will be released after all Round 1 scores have been finalized.
Championship Payouts
Cash payouts will be determined by the final field size and announced before the event.
If two flights are used, payouts are planned for:
Championship Flight

- 3rd Place
Players Flight
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- 3rd Place
Additional on-course prizes will include:
- Long Drive
- Closest to the Pin
- Additional championship contests to be announced
All payouts and prizes are subject to final participation and event eligibility.

Live Scoring
The On Par Championship will use the On Par live-scoring platform throughout both rounds.
Registered players will receive individual scoring access and tournament instructions before the event.
The leaderboard will track:
- Round scores
- Flight standings
- Overall standings
- Two-day aggregate totals
- Tied positions
Official tournament results remain subject to final score verification.

Detailed player instructions will be distributed before the event.
Priority Registration
Players who have previously competed in an On Par event will receive first notice and an early opportunity to register before the championship is promoted publicly.
Registration is first come, first served.
The field is limited to 48 players.
Your place in the field is not secured until registration and payment are completed.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted no later than October 3, 2026.
Approved refunds will be issued less any nonrefundable payment-processing fees.
No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Player no-shows
- Late withdrawals
- Failure to meet event eligibility requirements
- Removal from the event for misconduct or rules violations
Entry Transfer Policy
Entry transfers may be permitted with prior approval from On Par Tournaments.
The replacement player must:
- Meet all championship eligibility requirements
- Provide a current and verifiable handicap index
- Complete all required registration information
- Be approved by On Par Tournaments
Transfer requests must be submitted no later than October 3, 2026.
Entries may not be transferred within 14 days of the event.
Players may not independently resell or transfer their entry without prior approval.
Player Conduct
The On Par Championship is designed to provide a competitive, respectful and premium tournament environment.
All players are expected to:
- Follow the Rules of Golf and all local course rules
- Maintain an appropriate pace of play
- Respect fellow competitors, staff and the golf course
- Avoid disruptive, abusive or unsportsmanlike behavior
- Follow all On Par scoring and tournament procedures
On Par Tournaments reserves the right to remove a player from the event for conduct that negatively affects the tournament experience.
Removal for misconduct does not guarantee a refund.
Weather and Course Conditions
The championship will be played under the weather and course conditions in effect on each tournament day.
On Par Tournaments and Paako Ridge Golf Club reserve the right to adjust:
- Tee times
- Course routing
- Starting locations
- Pairings
- Tournament procedures
- Round length
- Contest locations
Adjustments may be made when necessary due to weather, course conditions, safety concerns or golf-course operations.
Any material changes will be communicated to registered players as quickly as possible.
Course Routing
The current championship plan is to compete on Paako Ridge Holes 1–18 during both rounds.
Course routing remains subject to final confirmation and may be adjusted in coordination with Paako Ridge Golf Club.
Any routing changes will be communicated before the event.

The 2026 On Par season concludes at Paako Ridge Golf Club.
